Our college Santal Bidroha Sardha Satabarshiki Mahavidyalaya reminds us about the great historical event of Santal Revolt that took place in 1855. The college is fittingly
named as it is established in 2005. It is situated at Goaltore in the district of Paschim Medinipur, a place which is mainly inhabited by SC/ST and other Backward Class people.
The college has rendered a tremendous boost to the students of the vast locality. The spontaneous donation and cooperation of the local people and the grants from the MLA,
MP, Government of West Bengal etc. Midnapore have helped in the development of the college. At present the college offers 12 Honours and 17 General courses of study
including seven well equipped laboratories, Introduction of so many subjects within the short span of nine years is really incredible.
